Well I celebrated my 25th birthday a couple of days ago...i don't think i should actually use the word celebrate out here coz there were no "Celebrations" as such...I might as well say.., I turned 25 this year...and the day turned out to be nothing as I wanted it to be...(not that I had anticipated anything)..., but as it turned out I had lost a dear friend today...:((...We all miss U Abhinav...We do...
My day started out on a bitter note and with the old memories haunting me throughout the day.., I hardly had any mood to interact with others... I slogged out the entire day.., desperately trying hard not to cry... Abhi had spoken to me just a couple of days ago...,:((
But well.., my family has never let things affect anything drastically...They still tried cheering me up as well as they could.... ThanQ guys..., Thanx Raj for always being there, (even when you actually aren't nearby)...
And the day ended quietly....., as quietly as it began....

Well well....
I turn 25 in a couple of days..25!!!!Can hardly believe it....I'm not celebrating my bday this year..for obvious reasons...But u cant say...With the sort of cousins and friends i have...,i have carried forward my thought of a no-celebration to almost everybody i know...But i did notice some mischievous chuckles on a few faces...Whatever did they mean!!!!ill keep u updated nevertheless..
I hope ill not keep my blog inactive for so many days...like i did for the past few months...But this summer has been really pathetic for me...Hyderabad was never this hot....Nor was bangalore...Guess the effect of global warming!!!Whoever said that it will effect our predecessors spoke too early...Its effecting us man!!!!!I have to deal with all health issues (Yeah yeah the same old list)...and thanks to the blazing sun...,a few more.Apart from the IPL and the yummy yummy mangoes..., i didnt find summer as exciting as used to find it a few years ago...
Im done with "The Kite Runner"....,woaaa did i find it good??Awesome must say.., a good read.i love Khaled's "A Thousand Splendid Suns"....and on an impulse i went and bought this book...I admire his narration..its really good...And to add..,My library is costing me a fortune......
I've downloaded hundreds and thousands of songs....english, telugu, kannada, hindi, spanish...all of them....ive found some rare ones thanks to the software lent by pari.....mmmm yeah .., im still trying to make things brighter...and desperately waiting for the monsoons.....

Raj(asthan) Royals!!!!!!!!!!!!
So finally as the world predicted, the men in blue, the Rajasthan Royals' did lift the first DLF IPL trophy...Well they sure did deserve to..But i had a secret hope of a Chennai win.Come on now, M.S.D does rock. But i the best part of the final according to me was the way the Super Kings conducted themselves after their loss. Kudos to Dhoni and am i glad that we have such a calm, composed and an outstanding captain....No wonder hez risen so high in such a short span of time...and he'll stay mind u. Rajasthan had had to win the trophy after their marvelous run throughout the tournament....and Shane Warne!!! Wow..Where was he all these days???Im terribly bored from the last two days as the matches have come to an end...But on the whole the DLF IPL was a sure big hit....Everything about it was huge and it didnt fail to live upto what it had promised. Its dug out an unbelievable amount of talent and its brought out the spirit of the game in true form....Now who did expect that Ricky Ponting and Saurav Ganguly would be deciding the tactics as to how to get M.S.D out??Or Rahul Dravid agreeing with Jacques Kallis about the field placement....Man.....did i enjoy it or did i enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thinking about it, the entire tournament required a lot of planning...,and the dedication of the officials and staff is worth mentioning. I've personally seen the amount of pressure these go through during every match...Well i havent seen a better form of cricket in my entire life....And though the Raj Royals' have the trophy this time....i already have started rooting for Hyderabad to win the next one...

IT's All IPL Out Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And R.P
To Say that the Indian Premier League is a Hit.., would be an understatement...You should have actually been at the stadium watching the matches.., to actually understand the immense euphoria that it has created...To bad the Chargers ended up at the bottom of the points table...,but this has been a tournament that Hyderabad (read INDIA), would'nt forget for a long long time to come...I really dont know what am i gonna do from tomorrow...after tonight's grand finale...
But i must add...Hyderabad loves you and THE DECCAN CHARGERS' Gilly, so please do promise us that you would'nt disappoint us the next season...I was in awe of our team..,It must be noted that there was never really a bad performance from our team.., It was just that nothing really worked out for them...WE had the best team one could imagine...,Adam Gilchrist, Hershelle Gibbs, Shahid Afridi, Rohit Sharma, Chaminda Vaas, Scott Styris, Venugopal rao, and so many more.., not to forget my current favorite...RUDRA!!!!!!!Must add...hez been awesome and he really is sweet...,I've had the chance to interact with him at all the matches and should say.., HEZ MIGHTY IMPRESSIVE[:)]...
Movng ahead.., whoever wins the DLF IPL trophy..., The Raj (RAJASTHAN) Royals' or the Chennai Super Kings..., both the teams deserve being there in the final...cause ultimately its the team's grit and determination that leads them there....
The tournament has marked a new and fresh look of cricket which fans and spectators have immensely loved...Be it the exhorbitant number of sixes and fours hit in each match.., or the mexican waves..., or the charismatic cheerleaders, or the Stars themselves [read Shahrukh, Preity, Juhi, Katrina, Akshay, hrithik, ...etc, etc]....everything has just gone right...,the popularity of the contest has definitely covered up for all its flaws and controversies [the slapgate one being the prime]....
There has been a lot of young blood which has been unearthed during the series...,and everyone were floored...Shaun Marsh, Rohit Sharma, Gautam gambir, Sohail tanvir, Rudra Pratap Singh, Badrinath, Venugopal Rao, Shane watson, Virat Kohli, Pragyan Ojha, VRV Singh, Suresh Raina, wow!!!!!!!!!11and the list continues...
Cricket has had found a new meaning of late...While most of the people would actually want to watch the orthodox 5-day tests or the nail biting one days's...the ILP has come up with the innovative 20-20 for the fast moving urban lifestyles of the current generation...and should i say ..., I SIMPLY LOVED IT....
